Informatioon Packets and Zoning Out

I'm almost done making your informational packets for Monday!  You had all better be excited -menacing look-!  I wonder how long Rowse will let me talk.  Cause I could probably go on for a while.  But I'm sure it'll be ok.  Someone will stop me before class ends.... or no one will say anything as they slowly block out the sound of my speaking and surepticiously play with their cell phones while I'm jabbering on.  Either way I don't really mind. ^-^  Let's see..... what was the other thing I was going to make a poster for.......?

 looking at the pictures of my books and wondering how I got all of these... then I think, "Wait!  There's more at the other house!" and realize I might have a problem.  My father's wallet weeps at the sight of them all.

So, I'm safely at my dad's house for the weekend and I'm already knee deep in my weekend project: Fandom 101!  To be presented to you good people on Monday (I totally got permission from Rowse to do it!)  I'm really excited to possibly scar one of you (or more) mentally while educating you on the wonders of fandom!  Also, I'm going to take pictures of my books as soon as I can find some batteries.... I know we have some around here somewhere!  Just watched a History Channel documentery on lost worlds.  Its pretty cool.  1 episode finished; 11 episodes to go.  My life rocks right now! ^-^  Could this day get any better?!

Writing a plot summary is hard.  I'm trying to finish my plot summary for my Cyrano de bergerac Project for World Lit. cause it's due tomorrow, but I'm getting stuck here and there.  At least i'm finished with my Intro to Psych. project.  What's with all the projects?  Seriously, teahcers!  WHY?!?!???!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Fanfiction: My One True Love

Despite the fact that many people dislike fanfiction, I can't get enoughy of it.  Its not always about changing the sexual orientation of all the main characters and hooking them up with their worst enemies!  Sometimes its just about getting an idea you had for the characters of your favorite fandom out there for others to see!  I am proud to be both a fangirl and an author of fanfiction!

Oh, You Do Speak English Fluently.....

I'd never have guessed that you did.  I hate when you are reading something online and the grammar is atrocious -like worse than can be acceptably ignored- and you think to yourself, 'It's okay.  This person probably speaks English as a secondary language or something.'  Because I see a lot of people who write in English, even though its not their first language, so they can improve.  And then you check out the part of the site where this particular person tells you about themselves and you find out that they not only speak English, but its their first language and they live in a nation that is primarily English-speaking!  What is wrong with these people that they can't spell 'the' or use the right form of  'to/too/two'?!  Its bad enough that the English language is being butchered every time we utter a word.  Would it kill them to edit a little bit or actually learn to string a sentence together?  I'm not saying I never mess up or speak/ write incorrectly, because I know I do.  However, there is a line that you can cross from reasonably incorrect English to is this even English?

1. I love to shop.
2. I hate most sports.
3. I don't read any of the books I got for my nook.  Instead, i make my documents from my computer into PDFs and put them on my nook to read instead.
4.  I am a night owl and a morning person.
5. My late is everyone else's on-time.
6. On time, for me, is 15 minutes early.
7. Don't even ask what i consider early.
8. I hate awkward silences and thus babble in an attempt to fill them.
9. I am a procrastionator.
10. I am a huge history buff.
11. I'm not a fan of bright colors and won't wear pastels to save my life.
12. I've had all of my wisdom teeth removed already.
13. I think its silly to buy bottled water when you can drink it out of the tap and its exactly the same but doesn't taste as funny.
14. I would rather eat a homecooked meal at home than eat out at a restaruant or get fast food.

20. I think half the fun is immersing yourself in the character you create and fleshing them out to the point that they seem like a real person with an address, birthmarks, personality quirks, childhood injuries, and even favorite foods.

Saturday Will Be A Great Day!

Really excited cause I get to go home to my dad's house today!  Then tomorrow my friends and i are going shopping after the fashion show one of them is in.  Shopping is so awesome!  I love it!

Fashion Shows and Family Not-Fun

I kind of want to go see my dad this weekend, but I went last weekend so i'm not sure my mom will let me.  Plus one of my best friends is gonna be in a fashion show and so we're (some friends and I) all going to go see her.  I really would like to see my dad though, cause I only got to see him for an hour last weekend, as my mother needed me to come home early on Saturday instead of Sunday (when i normally come back), and my dad had to work Friday night and didn't get home Saturday until right after i had to leave to get back to my mom's house! T-T  Life sucks sometimes.....

The Cab

Okay, so I bought this awesome cd on iTunes last week!  It's called 'Symphany Soldiers' (I'm pretty sure) by this band called The Cab!  They have a nice sound and I think their music is nice to just put on and either listen to or just have as background sound for whatever it could be you are doing at that moment.  I'm kind of sad that like no one knows who they are when i mention them though cause they're such a good band.....oh, well!  Time to go educate my friends' musical tastes (by force if necessary!)... : )  BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I am not insane, just mildly unhinged.  There IS a difference you know!

2. My father and I collect coins (mostly him, I just help a bit).
3. I went through a phase where I was obsessed with making jewelery and now that I'm over it i have tons of beads that just get in the way and take up space.

5. I have no favorite musician.
6. I'll listen to almost any music except for polka or jazz.  I don't really like them, but I could live with jazz.
7. I once had about 30 cats..... We started out with just one. ^-^;
8. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister.  All are half-siblings.
9. I think people should stay out of other people's business if it involves personal choices and things like that.
10. I love chocolate.
11. I hate my name.
12. My friends and I switch our nicknames every time we get a new fandom, but we still use the old ones so I have about 7 different nicknames that could be used by the same person in a conversation.

SOPA and the Apocolypse of the Internet

SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) is really getting on my nerves.  I think its just a way for the government to censor the internet.  If it gets passed it will cripple the internet, start the Apocolypse, and cause mass rioting and millions to commit ritual seppuku!  I plan to flee the country with my father in tow if either SOPA or its cousin bill, PIPA, gets passed by Congress.  Let's see......England, Canada, or Sweden.......or maybe the Netherlands? -ponders-

Ok, I have to admit that having nothing to really talk about but myself here is making me feel a bit annoyed.  I sound kind of narcassistic.  O.o  I just had the most random thought ever!  And it was scary!  OH THE HORROR!!!!!!!!!  -faints-

The Weekend! WOO!

I'm pretty happy it's Friday.  Can't wait to sit back and relax for the weekend.  Already have plans with some friends and a good book waiting for me at home.  Speaking of Friday, I totally didn't notice it was friday the 13th until my teacher in 2nd period mentioned it.  Lol!  I make it a point to step on all the cracks in the sidewalk, today especially. (Not really!)  But I'm glad its almost the weekend so I can catch up on some much needed sleep. Hahaha....ok, I really plan to sleep like barely at all until Sunday night but in theory I should be catching up on sleep.  Glad I'm going to my friend's house Saturday so I don't have to listen to my little brother babble on about how great his church/Sunday school is. -Sigh- Where did I go wrong?  He was such a cute baby.....I blame my mother.  ^-^

The 33 Strategies of War

I'm so happy that I bought this book!  It's really interesting and has a lot of historical references included in it!  'The 33 Strategies of War' is apparently part of a series of amoral books.  I kind of want to see if i can get my dad to buy me the other two........but I wanted him to get me that other thing, so I might just have to buy them myself. :(

Hetalia Season 3 and The Now Show

YAY!  Season 3 of Hetalia Axis Powers is coming out in only a few weeks' time!  I'm so excited!  Can't wait for my pre-ordered copy to show up.  It has a purple Prussia (Gilbert Beilshmidt) bandana with it.......wonder what new characters are going to appear.  Also, I am now addicted to 'The Now Show' which is a radio show on BBC radio channel 4 that puts a humerous spin on each week's news.  Marcus Brigstocke is brilliant!
