Unhappy Children's Rhymes By Me! >:D

Acid on the rosies,
Strangled by a posie,
Crumble, Crumble,
We tumble down.

(To the tune of 'Ring Around the Rosie')

  1. Could also be sung as:

    "Tumble, Tumble,
    We crumble down."

    Whatever version you like.

  2. Did you know that 'Ring Around the Rosie' is a song about the Plague? (nice unhappy rhyme by the way!)

    1. Yes i did. The Bubonic Plague, I think. The history behind some of the rhymes and songs and stories we tell children are really terrible. Rock a Bye Baby is really about a kidnapper who stole babies from their cradles, murdered them, then put the corpses in a tree for the parents to find the next day. Not so sweet when you know the real meaning.
