Yes i did. The Bubonic Plague, I think. The history behind some of the rhymes and songs and stories we tell children are really terrible. Rock a Bye Baby is really about a kidnapper who stole babies from their cradles, murdered them, then put the corpses in a tree for the parents to find the next day. Not so sweet when you know the real meaning.
Could also be sung as:
